Privacy Policy of TelkomselDFE

This Privacy Policy explains how we, PT Telkomsel Ekosistem Digital (“Indico”), perform data processing, including the collection, processing, analysis, storage, disclosure, repair, deletion, or destruction of the user’s personal data on the TelkomselDFE Platform, namely the site that provides an agri-food technology solution by combining Internet-of-Things (“IoT”) sensors, accurate data analysis, and other supporting tools to meet the user’s needs related to farming and agriculture.
Please note when you use the Platform that there may be various links to other websites provided for your convenience. Indico in this case is not responsible for the policies on managing personal information on these sites. This policy is only intended and applied to Indico Services. Indico strongly recommends that you always see and study the personal information management policies on these sites before providing your personal information.

Information We Collect

The following personal information is collected in connection with the Service:

Information You Provide Directly. Some features of the Service allow you to provide information directly to us, where such data is required by Indico to provide the Service, including:

a. Full Name;
b. Email/handphone number/social media account;
c. User type;
d. Land Address;
e. Payment data when the User performs payment transaction activities through the TelkomselDFE Platform, including bank account and credit card data;
f. Business name;
g. Harvest Period, Harvest commodities and other land related data of the User;
h. Personal photo (optional).

Browsing data for information collected when you use the Service. Information relating to your data includes but is not limited to:

a. Data contained in the device (device unique ID, mobile network connection type, provider, network and device performance, browser type, language, information enabling digital rights management and operating system);
b. Mobile Device Location Data;
c. IP Address Data.

In addition to the information you provide, we will collect information about your use of our Service through the software on your device and/or by other means. We will collect:

a. Information on service usage: your interaction with the Service (such as the search terms, applications and features you use), the date and time of your use of the Service, information on your use of the Service.
b. Information on Device and Log, such as handphone number and transaction data to validate transactions.

In addition to the personal data as referred to above, you have the option to provide additional personal data to Indico for account personalization needs. Some optional data may become mandatory if the User registers as a Seller on the TelkomselDFE Platform.
The policy for collecting, processing, analyzing, storing, disclosing, correcting and deleting personal data contained in the General Privacy Policy for Indico Services, is an integral part of these Terms. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy and registering and/or using the TelkomselDFE Platform, the User also agrees and is subject to the General Privacy Policy for Indico Services at www.telkomsel.com/privacy-policy.

How We Use The Information Collected

We have purposes to collect and process Information Data as described above, with due regard to the consent you give for each purpose, as follows:

Providing Services, evaluating, and developing features on the TelkomselDFE Platform from time to time;
We use it when we need to contact you about the promotion of TelkomselDFE Platform products and services (unless you unsubscribe) or to provide you with account and transaction information and updates. While you cannot unsubscribe from these notifications, we try to contact you only when necessary.
Conducting surveys and analysis required to improve the Service;
Sending information and gifts from promotional activities and events;
Processing payments and billing when the user purchases products and/or services and/or uses paid services;
Identifying and proving yourself so that you can use certain Services;
Responding to your inquiries and sending important notifications to the user when necessary; and
To be connected to, and stored in, our data center, our Affiliated Companies and/or other parties that are subject to a data retention agreement with us for a period of time and as required under the applicable laws and regulations;
To be processed by us, our Affiliated Companies and/or other parties that are subject to a data management collaboration agreement with us for the benefit of Information Data utilization activities to improve the quality of our services and/or our Affiliated Companies, including based on your experience, expanding activities of our business and/or our Affiliated Companies and increase company’s value.

Disclosure of Information Data

Information Data collected by Indico may be disclosed to the government, or other authorized parties based on a valid legal basis, under conditions/purposes including:

Service Provider. We may share your information with companies that provide the Service on our behalf, such as companies that help us develop and operate systems for the Service with customer contact centers, as well as customer service activities, advertisements (including special advertisements on our websites, third party websites, or online platforms), conducting customer satisfaction surveys, billing, or emailing on our behalf. This is limited by contractual terms in their ability to use your information for purposes other than providing the Service to us.
To comply with the law or support law enforcement proceedings (such as a search warrant or other court orders);
To work with our partners and Affiliated companies to improve your experience on the Service, which will only be done in accordance with the processing purposes as stated previously, or to protect your interests, and subject to a data management collaboration agreement with us;
The occurrence of a merger, sale of company assets, consolidation, or restructuring, financing or acquisition of all or part of our business by and/or to another company, for the purposes of the transaction. This action is protected by a confidentiality agreement between us and the relevant third party;
Other Parties with Your Consent or upon Your Request. In addition to the sharing of information described in this Privacy Policy, we may share your information with third parties if you separately consent to or request such sharing of information;
Links to Websites, Devices, Applications and Other Features. The Service may provide the ability to link to other websites, devices, applications and features, which may operate independently of us and may have their own notices or privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. As long as the linked websites, devices, applications or other features are not owned or controlled by us, we are not responsible for their contents, uses or privacy practices;
To carry out the activities as described in the Objectives of Data Collection and Processing.

Confidentiality Guarantee

Confidentiality of the User’s Personal Information is the most important thing for Indico.Indico will use its best efforts to protect and secure the User’s Personal Data and Information from access to collection, processing, analysis, storage, disclosure, repair and deletion by unauthorized parties. However, sending information through the TelkomselDFE Platform is not completely secure. Although Indico will endeavor its best to protect the User’s Personal Information, the User acknowledges that Indico cannot guarantee the integrity and accuracy of any Personal Information that the User submits through the TelkomselDFE Platform, or guarantees that such Personal Information will not be intercepted, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by unauthorized third parties, due to factors beyond Indico’s control. In the event of illegal access and activities to the confidentiality of the User’s Personal Information and it is beyond Indico’s control, Indico will notify the User immediately at the first opportunity so that the User can reduce the risks arising from this.
The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the User’s account details, including username, password, email, or OTP from anyone and must always maintain and be responsible for the security of the device that the User uses.

Cookies

From time to time, Indico may implement “cookies” or other features to enable Indico to collect or share information that will help us improve the TelkomselDFE Platform, or help Indico offer new services and features. “Cookies” is an identifier that Indico assigns to your computer or mobile device that allows Indico to recognize your computer or device and inform us of how and when the TelkomselDFE Platform is used or visited, by how many people, and to track activities on the TelkomselDFE Platform. Indico may link cookie information to personal data. Cookies also link to information about what items you have selected for the pages and purchases you view. This information is also used to track your shopping cart, for example. Cookies are also used to deliver content specific to your interests and to monitor your use of our Platform.
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you will not be able to use the full functionality of the TelkomselDFE Platform.

User’s Selection and Transparency

After downloading the application and/or using the TelkomselDFE Platform, you will be asked for approval from each of your mobile devices to access certain data. Without this consent, you do not directly provide access to the TelkomselDFE Platform to collect and use your personal data on the device. You also have the right to access and change your personal data through the settings feature in the TelkomselDFE application.

If you feel there is an error or mistake in your personal data, you have the right to correct the data by providing adequate proof of identity. With no exception, TelkomselDFE may refuse your data correction request if your proof of identity is inadequate or incorrect in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. On the other hand, you can also have the right to withdraw the consent that was given when you first used the TelkomselDFE Platform service, then the TelkomselDFE Platform can no longer process your personal data, unless required by the applicable laws and regulations.
